To Blog or not to Blog?
I love the new marketing tools! I use them every day. Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, SEO, and Inbound marketing are all essential tools for any Internet marketing program.
Last night I attended my first Tech Tuesday event held at the Microsoft NERD building on Memorial Drive. Here is a shout out to Microsoft for providing the food and beverage at the event.
Late last week I took my teenage daughter on several college tours. We drove a thousand miles and visited several colleges and universities. Seeing it through the eyes of a sixteen year old really hit home the importance of marketing, messaging and branding.
I recently read the New York Times article by Claire Cain Miller “Spinning the Web: P.R. in Silicon Valley” July 5, 2009, and came away thinking it was an informative article on how public relations is changing due to new social media tools that are “blurring the lines between journalists and everyone else”, and an excellent chronicle of one start up company and PR professional’s experience.
As each week brings more depressing economic news, executives are forced to communicate important company information every day.
