Bob is ridiculously passionate about marketing and has helped many companies with the development and implementation of social media strategies, tactics and management. Over the years, his clients have included approximately 200 publications, 100 nonprofit organizations and 150 others in the tech, healthcare, financial services, education,travel areas and more.
In addition to running his own business, Bob has been the Director of Social Media at Overdrive Interactive where he managed a team of social media specialists who provided content to a number of both B2B and B2C clients, writing and publishing dozens of posts weekly across a variety of social media channels. He has been a Creative Director at various marketing and advertising firms as well as a Copywriter.
Bob is the current president of the American Marketing Association Boston, a past President of the New England Direct Marketing Association, adjunct professor at the Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a graduate of Leadership MetroWest’s Leadership Academy. He was named New England Direct Marketing Association’s “Direct Marketer of the Year” in 2009 and has received over 40 awards from the association, including Gold for his blog on marketing, Gold for Best Tweets and Silver for Best Copywriting. He has presented and spoken in public extensively about social media, copywriting and marketing, has been published in countless media outlets and has a podcast on marketing and a YouTube channel with hundreds of videos.
Bob received a B.A. in English from UMass Amherst and an M.S. from
Brooklyn College in Television and currently lives in Sudbury, MA.
